Snowshoe Races
The Washington's Birthday Snowshoe events at the Guilford Fairground drew 30 adult participants in the 5km tour. It was a casual event, and several of those attending chose to try the course on skis. First to complete the loop was a skier, Linda Hecker of Guilford, shown here. She won a gift certificate to Grafton Ponds for the winter sport of her choice
In the Kids's Fun Race, the winner was 7-year-old Andy Moussin, originally from Ethiopia, and now of Spofford, NH. The event was dubbed the Lollipop Loop because every contestant received one for finishing. Moussin received a fair number of lollipops, and is seen here consuming one
